2020 Falcon of the Plantagenets 10oz Silver Coin - Gift Boxed

This silver coin features the Falcon of the Plantagenets. The coin is fine Silver and weighs ten ounces (311.03 grams). Like our 1oz and 2oz coins, the 10oz Falcon coin comes in a protective plastic coin capsule to preserve the coin's excellent condition. This coin will be presented in an attractive oak gift box.

This coin has a face value of £10 and just like other British currency, this coin will be exempt of any Capital Gains Tax when you are ready to sell.

This beautiful coin is one of a series of ten that will feature the "Queen's Beasts". The Queen's Beasts are ten statues which stood guard for the Queen's Coronation, sculpted by James Woodford RA in 1953. The Queen's Beasts are still standing, but are currently housed at the Canadian Museum of History in Quebec, Canada. Stone replicas of the statues can be found at Kew Gardens.

Collectors Note: The Queen's Beast series of coins will be issued by the Royal Mint on a one-by-one basis until 2020. Customers collecting this range will not have access to these earlier coins in 2020 as they are limited edition, so you will need to purchase them individually as they become available (roughly every six months).
