The 2023 silver Trees of Life 1oz round, produced by Geiger Edelmetalle for Tara Coins of Ireland, is a tribute to Ireland's cultural heritage and the unity of life on Earth. Crafted from 99.99% fine silver, each 1-ounce round features the Newgrange tri spiral, the Irish harp, rising sun, and the universe on the obverse, symbolizing a connection with history and nature.
The reverse features the Tree of Life and three apples, accompanied by an inscription denoting the silver content and 2023 year of issue. The Tree of Life holds significance as a representation of the connection between the earthly and heavenly realms. Celtic tradition held a deep affection for trees, considering them as ancestral figures and guardians to the Celtic Otherworld. This portrayal grants the Tree of Life a sacred status within Celtic culture.
Individual rounds are presented in plastic capsule, orders of 20 or more are issues in acrylic tubes, and 500 or more come in a Tara coins wooden box.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the European Union under €1,500 will be sent with Colissimo, in collaboration with national postal services across Europe. Orders greater than €1,500 (up to €40,000) will be sent by FedEx.
All orders of any size or value up to €40,000 are sent with free, insured delivery, with a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders worth more than €40,000 will be dispatched in separate parcels on consecutive days.
