Introducing the 2023 Darth Vader & Emperor Palpatine fifty pence silver proof coin, part of the Star Wars coin range from The Royal Mint.
The coin is dated 2023 to coincide with the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, and the painted design features the two iconic villains and rulers of the Galactic Empire. A special ‘lenticular feature’, depicting the death star and the the Galactic Empire insignia can be seen when the coin is viewed from different angles.
The 2023 Vader & Palpatine 50p silver proof coin is the second of four coins dedicated to iconic duos from the Star Wars franchise. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this coin is a must-have for both Star Wars enthusiasts and collectors. It comes in an official Royal Mint presentation box with an informative booklet.
The coin is minted in 925 sterling silver with a weight of 8 grams and a pure silver content of 7.4g. Only 12,500 of these proof coins are being produced worldwide making it a prized addition to any Star Wars collection.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the European Union under €1,500 will be sent with Colissimo, in collaboration with national postal services across Europe. Orders greater than €1,500 (up to €40,000) will be sent by FedEx.
