Mexican Coins
Mexico is located south of the United States of America. With a rich history as the home of many civilisations, such as the Mayan and Aztec people, Mexico was conquered by the Spanish in the 1500's. The emergence of the country's current political system culminated with the 1917 Constitution.
The Peso has been in circulation in Mexico since 1863. It has a common origin with the Spanish Dollar and is still used today.
