The 2003 Half Ounce American Gold Eagle is an official gold bullion coin of the United States and had an original bullion mintage of 79,029. The obverse design features Augustus Saint-Gaudens' image of Liberty, holding a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The reverse design of the American Gold Eagle is by sculptor Miley Busiek, and features a male Eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest.
The US government guarantee the stated amount of actual gold weight in troy ounces. By law, the gold must be sourced from American mines.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the European Union under €1,500 will be sent with Colissimo, in collaboration with national postal services across Europe. Orders greater than €1,500 (up to €40,000) will be sent by FedEx.
All orders of any size or value up to €40,000 are sent with free, insured delivery, with a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders worth more than €40,000 will be dispatched in separate parcels on consecutive days.
