This gold proof £5 coin (aka quintuple Sovereign, or Crown) was issued to celebrate the centenary year of the Queen Mother in 2000.
The obverse of this gold proof £5 coin features the third portrait of the Queen by Ian Rank-Broadley. He also had the honour of producing the image for the reverse of the coin, which was made from images of the Queen Mother taken at Clarence House for this purpose.
This product is supplied as 'coin only' in a plastic capsule. There is no box or certificate.
