This set features a proof double-sovereign (two-pound coin), sovereign, half-sovereign and quarter-sovereign from 2019. These proofs have been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity.
This set contains 27.47 grams of pure coin - it is complete with its own certificate of authenticity and presented in an attractive Royal Mint gift box.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the European Union under €1,500 will be sent with Colissimo, in collaboration with national postal services across Europe. Orders greater than €1,500 (up to €40,000) will be sent by FedEx.
