The 2022 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Proof silver 1kg coin is one of several coins issued by The Royal Mint to honour the life and service of the late queen.
As with all coins in the range, the obverse (front) of the coin features Martin Jenning's portrait of King Charles III for the first time, making it a historic release. With a diameter of 100mm this will be one of the largest King Charles III coins available in this initial launch period, and will be a great opportunity to see the new portrait in greater detail.
The reverse features a new graceful design of Elizabeth II by John Bergdahl and The Royal Mint.
This Proof 1 Kilo coin is struck in fine silver (999) and weighs a total of 1005g. It is presented in a handsome presentation box and comes with a certificate of authenticity and full colour booklet.
