Description

The 2024 platinum Britannia 1/10oz coin, containing 3.11 grams of platinum at a purity of 999.5 parts per thousand. It is sourced directly from the Royal Mint's refinery in Llantrisant, Wales and is sure to continue to be a favourite choice for platinum investors.

The design on the reverse of the 2024 King Charles III platinum Britannia features the classic image of Lady Britannia, goddess of Roman mythology and the personification of Britain, holding a shield and trident. The design includes advanced security features making Royal Mint Britannia coins among the most secure bullion coins in the world. These are:

Micro-detail waves for the coin's background
Britannia's shield has additional line work detailing
Latin text engraved into the inner rim
A hologram which changes between a padlock and a trident

The obverse features the portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
