The 2025 British Lion 5oz silver coin features the animal in a striking pose holding a shield, representing Britain's strength and authority, designed by David Lawrence. The background surface of the reverse uses an Union Flag surface animation for additional security and authentication. The obverse features the official portrait of King Charles III by Martin Jennings.

Each 2025 1oz The British Lion silver coin contains 155.5 grams of 999 fine silver, and has a face value of £10. With an increased diameter it will offer a great opportunity to see this stunning design in greater detail.
