2023 Robin Hood Myths & Legends 10oz Silver Coin

The Royal Mint launches an exciting new series with their first release of their 'Myths & Legends' range as a 10oz silver coin, celebrating great figures from British folklore.

The first coin in the series features Robin Hood, the iconic British outlaw of Sherwood forest designed by The Royal Mint's Jody Clark. This design shows Robin Hood surrounded by foliage and balanced on a tree bough with his bow drawn and aimed. The obverse of the coin features the fifth and final portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, also by Jody Clark.

This 2023 Robin Hood 10oz silver coin is 999.9 purity and contains exactly ten ounces of silver, with a diameter of 89mm it will make for an impressive coin to behold. Just like other British currency coins, it is exempt of any Capital Gains Tax.

Assuming that the series follows the sequence of the smaller 1oz coins we can expect the release of a Maid Marian and Little John 10oz silver coin to follow in the near future.
