Description

The 2022 Komodo Dragon A.I. Apocalypse 1oz silver coin is produced by the Scottsdale Mint and features a unique design of a cyborg Komodo Dragon in a dystopian destroyed city. The intricate details showcase the armoured skin, hydraulic tubes and sharp claws as it surveys the destruction and smells the air for its next victim.

The obverse side of the coin features an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, facing right and wearing a crown. Below the Queen's image are inscriptions denoting the coin's face value, the year of minting ("2022"), and the purity of 999. At the base of the coin is a wooden 'tackle box', the national badge of Tokelau, which represents the sovereignty of this small territory in the South Pacific, and around the rim is a traditional patter design.

This coin is minted by the Scottsdale Mint for the small Pacific territory of Tokelau with a mintage of just 15,000. It makes a great partner piece to the 2022 Komodo Dragon also released by Scottsdale.
