Brand new 2018 One Ounce Gold Canadian Maples.

The 1oz Canadian Gold Maple Leaf is the official bullion gold coin of Canada. It weighs one troy ounce, or 31.1035 grams and is made of pure 9999 gold.

These 24ct pure gold coins are perfect for investors who prefer the finest gold bullion for investment or collection purposes.

The reverse of the coin states CANADA in large, spaced letters, with the 9999 purity rating appearing either side of the Maple leaf – Canada’s national symbol. Below the leaf, the coin reads FINE GOLD 1 OZ OR PUR – Or Pur being the French for Fine Gold. A smaller Maple leaf appears just below the main leaf, which is a security detailing from the Canadian Mint to deter forgeries.

The obverse side bears a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, as created by Susanna Blunt. This side of the coin states the Queen’s name at the top and 50 Dollars 2018 at the bottom. Both sides of the coin feature a special light diffracting pattern, which like the small Maple leaf is another security measure to deter duplication.

This 1 Ounce fine gold Maple Leaf coin is technically legal tender in Canada and as such has a face value of $50.
