This 2023 year of the rabbit one ounce gold coin marks the continuation of the classic Perth Mint Lunar series. It contains a troy ounces (31.103g) of fine, 24 carat gold and has a face value of 100 Australian Dollars.

The Perth Mint are known for the beautiful design of their coins and the design of the lunar series is always eagerly awaited by collectors. This year features a rabbit jumping through long grass designed by Ing Ing Jong of the Perth Mint.

The year of the rabbit runs from the 22nd of January 2023 until the 9th of February 2024, just like in the west rabbit represent alertness and quick wits. People born in these years are said to be ingenious, witty and vigilant.
