Continuing the classic Perth Mint Lunar series is the 2022 range, which marks the Year of the Tiger. As part of the current cycle we have the 2022 1/10oz Year of the Tiger gold coin. Each coin contains a tenth ounce of fine, 999.9 gold, with a face value of 15 Australian Dollars. The smaller size is an excellent way to buy one of these beautiful coins at a lower cost.

Each coin in the range includes the inscription ‘TIGER 2022’, as well as the Chinese character for ‘tiger’. A small ‘P’ mintmark is also found to denote The Perth Mint.

The tiger is known as the king of beasts in China, taking a similar symbolic representation to the lion in the West. People born on the Year of the Tiger are known for their strength and bravery, and are often charming and well-liked by others.
