The 2025 Queen's Panther 1oz platinum coin is the sixth bullion release in the Royal Tudor Beasts Collection from The Royal Mint, which features 10 'Beasts', consisting of statues that line the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court.
Designed by David Lawrence, the reverse side of the coin features the Queen's Panther bestowed to Jane Seymour by King Henry VIII, and shows the beast holding a shield with their combined (impaled) Arms. This design is not only for visual appeal but also has enhanced security features as a protection against counterfeiting. The obverse side of the coin presents the official coinage portrait of His Majesty King Charles III by Martin Jennings.
The 2025 Queen's Panther platinum coin contains exactly 1 troy ounce (31.1 grams) of pure 999.5 platinum. As with other coins from The Royal Mint it is considered legal tender with a face value of £100. It is therefore exempt from Capital Gains Tax. The coin will be in production for a few months until the next coin in the series is released, so collectors should purchase as soon as possible if they wish to get all coins in the series.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the European Union under €1,500 will be sent with Colissimo, in collaboration with national postal services across Europe. Orders greater than €1,500 (up to €40,000) will be sent by FedEx.
All orders of any size or value up to €40,000 are sent with free, insured delivery, with a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders worth more than €40,000 will be dispatched in separate parcels on consecutive days.
