The 2024 TIE Fighter fifty pence proof gold coin is the second in the iconic Star Wars spacecraft series from The Royal Mint.
The coin features the Imperial fighter in mid-flight, probably in pursuit of a rebel ship. A special ‘lenticular feature’, depicting the insignia of the Galactic Empire and the outline of a TIE fighter can be seen when the coin is viewed from different angles.
