This Royal Mint box-set features a single gold 2019 Proof Sovereign coin with the 5th portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
The 2019 Proof Sovereign features a '65' mint mark to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's sapphire coronation; the first coin to feature this special symbol.
This coin weighs the same as a regular (or Bullion) Sovereign, at 7.98grams and 22-carat gold (91.67% fineness). This proof has been struck using specially selected blanks and highly polished dies. During striking, the coinage dies exert enormous pressure on the coin blank, with at least two separate blows (or strikes), ensuring that the impression has extra clarity. Complete with its own booklet/Certificate of Authenticity. This Gold Sovereign is bound in a good looking case.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the European Union under €1,500 will be sent with Colissimo, in collaboration with national postal services across Europe. Orders greater than €1,500 (up to €40,000) will be sent by FedEx.
All orders of any size or value up to €40,000 are sent with free, insured delivery, with a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders worth more than €40,000 will be dispatched in separate parcels on consecutive days.
