A magnificent 10 ounce pure gold medal from the Royal Mint, as designed by chief engraver Gordon Summers.
This medal features St George slaying a dragon in front of the orange tree, while the reverse of the coin shows a princess watching the monumental battle.
Only 25 of these medals were produced. This example is Issue Number 8.
The item is hallmarked 999 (pure 24 carat) and has 313 grams of pure gold. It is presented in a beautiful wooden case with a certificate of authenticity. Please note that there are a couple of small rust spots visible on the reverse of the coin as shown, but this does not affect the bullion value of the medal's metal.
