Introducing the 2024 Year of the Dragon coloured 1oz silver coin (Purple Dragon), crafted by the Perth Mint from 99.99% pure silver and celebrating the Chinese Lunar year of the dragon. These unique versions of the lunar dragon coin features a specially painted purple dragon and comes in a special presentation card.
The dragon, symbolizing bravery, ambition, intelligence, and good fortune, influences those born in 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012, and 2024. The reverse showcases a Chinese mythical dragon beautifully painted and featuring flaming pearl symbolising spiritual energy, wisdom, prosperity, power and immortality. Included in the design is the Chinese character for ‘dragon’, the inscription ‘DRAGON 2024’ and a ‘P125’ mintmark signifying The Perth Mint’s 125th anniversary.
This 2024 Purple Dragon coloured Year of the Dragon 1oz silver coin has a limited worldwide mintage of only 5,000 coins.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the European Union under €1,500 will be sent with Colissimo, in collaboration with national postal services across Europe. Orders greater than €1,500 (up to €40,000) will be sent by FedEx.
All orders of any size or value up to €40,000 are sent with free, insured delivery, with a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders worth more than €40,000 will be dispatched in separate parcels on consecutive days.
