The 2024 Star Wars Death Star fifty pence proof silver coin is the fourth and final coin in the Royal Mint's series of iconic Star Wars spacecraft.
The coin features an image taken from the original artwork of the Lucasfilm library where the feared Death Star II, still under construction, looms into view. The beautiful design is painted directly onto the minted coin bringing the scene to life. A special ‘lenticular feature’, depicting the insignia of the Galactic Empire and the outline of the space station can be seen when the coin is viewed from different angles.
The 2024 Death Star 50p proof silver coin is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and is a must-have for Star Wars enthusiasts and collectors. It comes in an official Royal Mint presentation box with an informative booklet. The coin is minted in 925 sterling silver with a weight of 8 grams and a pure silver content of 7.4g. Only 7,500 of these proof coins are being produced worldwide making it a prized addition to any Star Wars collection.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the European Union under €1,500 will be sent with Colissimo, in collaboration with national postal services across Europe. Orders greater than €1,500 (up to €40,000) will be sent by FedEx.
