The 2024 Star Wars X-Wing fifty pence silver proof coin is the third coin in the Royal Mint's series of iconic Star Wars spacecraft.
The coin features an image taken from the original artwork of the Lucasfilm library where a Rebel X-Wing is flying through space with its wing in the iconic attack position which gives the ship its name. The beautiful design is painted directly onto the minted coin bringing the scene to life. A special ‘lenticular feature’, depicting the insignia of the Rebel Alliance and the outline of an X-Wing can be seen when the coin is viewed from different angles.
The 2024 X-Wing 50p proof silver coin is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and is a must-have for Star Wars enthusiasts and collectors. It comes in an official Royal Mint presentation box with an informative booklet. The coin is minted in 925 sterling silver with a weight of 8 grams and a pure silver content of 7.4g.
