The 2023 Yale of Beaufort Proof 1oz silver coin is the third Proof release in the new Royal Tudor Beasts Collection from The Royal Mint. Like the Queen's Beasts series, the collection will feature 10 'Beasts', this time consisting of statues that line the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court.
The Yale of Beaufort is one of the most distinctive beasts in this series. It is similar to a goat but has the tusks of a wild boar and the tail of a lion. This statue also bears a shield with the arms of Jane Seymour, Henry VIII's third wife.
This coin contains one troy ounce of pure .999 silver. As with other coins from The Royal Mint, it is considered legal tender and is therefore exempt from Capital Gains Tax.
This Proof one ounce (31.1g) coin is presented in a handsome presentation box and comes with a certificate of authenticity and full colour booklet.
