The 2022 Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II Piedfort (Double Thickness) Proof silver £5 coin is one of several coins issued by The Royal Mint to honour the life and service of the late queen.
As with all coins in the range, the obverse (front) of the coin features Martin Jenning's portrait of King Charles III for the first time, making it a historic release. The reverse features a beautiful dual image design of Queen Elizabeth II by John Bergdahl and The Royal Mint.
This Proof piedfort five pound coin (Crown) is struck in sterling silver (.925) and weighs a total of 56.56g. It is presented in a handsome presentation box and comes with a certificate of authenticity and full colour booklet.
Following the changes to international shipping after Brexit, orders to the European Union under €1,500 will be sent with Colissimo, in collaboration with national postal services across Europe. Orders greater than €1,500 (up to €40,000) will be sent by FedEx.
All orders of any size or value up to €40,000 are sent with free, insured delivery, with a 25kg weight limit per parcel. Orders worth more than €40,000 will be dispatched in separate parcels on consecutive days.
